Homemade Salsa

Recently, I noticed the salsa that I am obsessed with is FULL of sugar! Uhg, no wonder it tasted so good and was so darn addicting! Today, I decided to try making my own salsa. Needless-to-say, I could probably get just as addicted to this! Give it a try! It takes about 10 minutes.

You will need:

3 Medium Tomatoes

1 Pepper of your choice

1 Bunch of Green Onion

3 Garlic Cloves

1/4 - 1/2 cup Cilantro

1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt

1/2 Red Onion

Lime Juice to taste

 

Step 1: Chop the tomatoes, the white and light green parts of the green onion, the red onion, and cilantro. Mix them all together in a bowl

 

Step 2: Put the pepper (I chopped it up a bit first) and garlic in an food processor and process until a sort of paste/liquid form. 

 

Step 3: Mix the paste in with your tomato, onion, cilantro. 

 

 

 

Step 5: Add the salt to your mixture and as much lime Juice as desired.

 

Step 6: ENJOY! 

 

This recipe will keep for 4 to 5 days in the fridge; though you'll probably have no trouble finishing this salsa up!! Let me know how you like it!
