Why did you choose to work with Pace Right Coaching?
I needed to start training for the Tokyo marathon but was lacking motivation and running wasn't fun anymore. After talking with Amanda, I really loved her positive attitude and felt she was the right coach for me! Running has become fun again!
What do you like about online coaching?
I love the ease of getting and uploading my workouts. I also look forward to the emails I get from Amanda. They are always encouraging. I also like that the PRC athletes from around the country are there for support.
What are your training goals? What are you training for?
I'm training for the 2018 Tokyo marathon this Feb. I've completed five of the six major marathons. Finishing Tokyo means I will have completed all six majors and will earn my six star medal!
What has Pace Right Coaching helped you to achieve?
Working with Amanda has made running fun again! My motivation has returned. My running has improved after being stalled for awhile. I can't believe the improvements I've seen over the last few months!
Do you recommend Pace Right Online Coaching? Why or why not?
I would definitely (and have) recommended PRC to others. Amanda is knowledgeable and always provides reasons for workouts. She makes things fun, is encouraging and super positive. She also is very thoughtful and adds personal touches to her coaching!
What is something people may be surprised to find out about you?
I play the violin and take lessons every week.
What is your favorite exercise? Least favorite?
Pull-ups. No matter how much I work on pull-ups, they remain a struggle!
What has been your proudest moment working with Pace Right Coaching?
I did a 10k on Thanksgiving. Amanda had my goal time down for 9:30. I was nervous that the time was outside what I could do. Amanda believed I could do it and gave me great encouragement. I ended up finishing at a 9:14 pace. It was the happiest I've been running in a few years!
What is your spirit animal? Why?
I had no idea so I took an online test. Apparently it is a whale. Who knew!
