Caramelized Pear, Pecan, & Steak Salad

Serves: 2 people



  • 1 lb Lean Strip Steak

  • 1 TBSP Avocado Oil

  • ¼ Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 TBSP Agave Nectar

  • 2 Large Pears; Cut into chunks

  • ¾ Cup Pecans; Lightly Crushed

  • 4 Ounces Tomato Basil Feta Cheese

  • 4 Cups Arugula/Spinach Mix


  1. Prepare Steak medium rare on stovetop with spices of your choosing (we use tumeric, paprika, and garlic). Set Aside

  2. Heat avocado oil in the same pan. Add brown sugar, agave nectar, and pears. Stir on medium heat until the juices extract from the pears

  3. Using a slotted spoon, take pears out and put in a separate dish

  4. Pour pecans into the juices left in the pan and stir on medium heat for 5 minutes until caramelized.

  5. Scatter a mixture of Arugula & Spinach on a plate and top with steak, pears, pecans, and feta.
