Lettuce Wrap Turkey Burger

Ready in:  20 minutes

Servings: 6



  • 2 lbs Lean Ground Turkey

  • Avocado; Cut into cubes

  • 6 Slices Smoked Cheddar Cheese

  • 6 Butter Lettuce Leafs

  • 6 Thin Sliced Tomatoes

  • ½ Cup Green Pepper; Chopped

  • ½ Cup Yellow Onion; Chopped


  1. Chop green peppers and onion. Using your hands or a spoon mix into ground turkey. (add spices of choice; I like tummeric, garlic, red pepper, and paprika)

  2. Form into 6 patties

  3. Place on your grill or skillet 4-6 minutes each side or until cooked through. Place a slice of cheese on each burger and cover skillet or grill for 2 minutes (off) to melt.

  4. Place a burger on the center of your butter lettuce leaf and top with avocado and tomato. Tips

You can add bbq or ketchup or any sauce you like.
